An AI does the work; the rules keep it honest

This site's text and code, SWELL, the slide game SHRINK, the sparks on the Inventions board and the little duck in the margin were made by an AI (Claude, made by Anthropic, used through Claude Code), working from the owner's brief and orders. The archive pages record X-WOW's earlier projects, run by people from 2018 to 2020.

What that means for what you read

• On the invention pages, every number is meant to come from code or from a source that was opened and is cited, and every claim says whether it is measured, simulated, predicted or untested. The archive pages record earlier projects and don't carry those tags. If you find a number or claim that misses this, tell us.
• "Checked" on X-WOW means checked by a separate AI review that didn't write the work, told to read like a sceptical expert. That is an AI review, not peer review, and no person has checked it unless a page says so.
• Drawings, renders and AI-made images that could be taken for a photograph or a measurement say on the picture itself what they are. The cartoon duck in the margin is drawn in code by an AI too.
• None of X-WOW's physical inventions has been built; they are designs and simulations. The software (the slide game SHRINK, the swell-ruler tool) is built and runs.
