Are you an experts in veterinary medicine willing to inspire future scientists from around the world? The easiest way is to give an online lecture at one of X-WOW Lecture Without Borders event whenever you are available, share knowledge or support with anything in the learning and teaching through the Future Vet Pathologists team and Science Kids Club, to help veterinary medicine students to learn new topics through a dynamic way and benefit from professionals from around the world. At the university they learn the following modules so anything relates to the following would be very useful for them:
Preclinical
Veterinary Anatomy, Veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Biochemistry, (Animal Health and Production is studied throughout the years)
Paraclinical
Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology, Veterinary Pharmacology
Clinical
Veterinary Theriogenology, Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary Medicine (Clinics)
Some of the students also wish to learn why people choose a speciality, for example if you are a pathologists you can talk about what is pathology and how students can pursue a career in pathology; Where they can work after studying pathology and real life applications. This can give guidance and direction to the students, to learn about their future by learning more about the area of specialisation they wish for.
The previous event by Dr Francesca Chianini on "Neuropathology in Ruminants" attracted almost 900 veterinary medicine students in Africa to register, guess what? They want more! If you would also like to help make a difference and inspire future experts in veterinary medicine, please use the following form to share your interests and we will get it arranged as soon as possible!
p.s. of course, there are many other ways to help as well, such as sponsoring a event or donating the retired equipment but in general every little helps!
